My First Blog
Ok, so this is my first blog. Not just on Edublogs, but ever. Never done it before, not properly anyway, other than playing around with various bits of software.
So, why am i doing it now? Primarily playing around with this bit of software (!), edublog, as part of exploring e-Portfolios and related technologies (for reflection etc). Hopefully this will help me to make an important contribution to the e-portfolio consultative group so that we make a wise and informed decision about the best piece (or pieces) of kit for the University of Birmingham!!
But now i’ve got this blog, i might as well use it, and not just as a test bed for the e-portfolio project. Only thing is i’m not really sure whether to give it a particular purpose, or to make it a more general area for all my musings. One thing i’ll want to do i think is keep it fairly work-based, and generally e-Learning in content. Boring I know, but at least it will help to focus my mind a bit and hopefully avoid clogging up the interweb with my random thoughts and opinions. That’s what facebook is for.
More thought is needed maybe. And i need to find out what all this ‘reflection’ nonsense is all about!
